| CVE-2026-47759 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2026-05-28 | 8.7 High |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. Prior to 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1, there is a stored XSS vulnerability via unsanitized data-mce-* attributes (data-mce-href, data-mce-src, data-mce-style). Allows attackers to inject malicious values that override safe attributes during serialization, bypassing validation. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47760 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2026-05-28 | 8.7 High |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. From 6.8.0 to before 7.1.0, TinyMCE contains an XSS vulnerability caused by improper SVG namespace scope handling in the sanitizer. A crafted payload using nested elements can bypass attribute sanitization and execute arbitrary JavaScript. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47761 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2026-05-28 | 8.7 High |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. Prior to 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1, there is a stored XSS vulnerability in the media plugin. Attackers can inject malicious scripts via crafted data-mce-* attributes, which are executed when content is rendered. Impacts users of TinyMCE with the media plugin enabled. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47762 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2026-05-28 | 8.7 High |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. Prior to 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1, there is a stored XSS vulnerability via forged mce:protected comments. Allows attackers to bypass sanitization and inject scripts that execute when content is restored. Impacts users who utilize the protect option. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-38357 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2026-04-15 | 6.1 Medium |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content parsing code. This allowed specially crafted noscript elements containing malicious code to be executed when that content was loaded into the editor. This vulnerability has been patched in TinyMCE 7.2.0, TinyMCE 6.8.4 and TinyMCE 5.11.0 LTS by ensuring that content within noscript elements are properly parsed. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-38356 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2026-04-15 | 6.1 Medium |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content extraction code. When using the `noneditable_regexp` option, specially crafted HTML attributes containing malicious code were able to be executed when content was extracted from the editor. This vulnerability has been patched in TinyMCE 7.2.0, TinyMCE 6.8.4 and TinyMCE 5.11.0 LTS by ensuring that, when using the `noneditable_regexp` option, any content within an attribute is properly verified to match the configured regular expression before being added. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-29203 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2025-09-02 | 4.3 Medium |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content insertion code. This allowed `iframe` elements containing malicious code to execute when inserted into the editor. These `iframe` elements are restricted in their permissions by same-origin browser protections, but could still trigger operations such as downloading of malicious assets. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.8.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-29881 | 2 Tiny, Tinymce | 2 Tinymce, Tinymce | 2025-09-02 | 4.3 Medium |
| TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content loading and content inserting code. A SVG image could be loaded though an `object` or `embed` element and that image could potentially contain a XSS payload. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.8.1 and 7.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2012-4230 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| The bbcode plugin in TinyMCE 3.5.8 does not properly enforce the TinyMCE security policy for the (1) encoding directive and (2) valid_elements attribute, which allows attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via application-specific vectors, as demonstrated using a textarea element. | ||||
