| CVE-2005-3181 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| The audit system in Linux kernel 2.6.6, and other versions before 2.6.13.4, when CONFIG_AUDITSYSCALL is enabled, uses an incorrect function to free names_cache memory, which prevents the memory from being tracked by AUDITSYSCALL code and leads to a memory leak that allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption). | ||||
| CVE-2004-1002 | 2 Canonical, Samba | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Ppp | 2026-04-16 | 7.5 High |
| Integer underflow in pppd in cbcp.c for ppp 2.4.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a CBCP packet with an invalid length value that causes pppd to access an incorrect memory location. | ||||
| CVE-2005-3106 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-04-16 | 4.7 Medium |
| Race condition in Linux 2.6, when threads are sharing memory mapping via CLONE_VM (such as linuxthreads and vfork), might allow local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by triggering a core dump while waiting for a thread that has just performed an exec. | ||||
| CVE-2005-1111 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Gnu and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Cpio and 1 more | 2026-04-16 | 4.7 Medium |

| Multiple heap-based buffer overflows in the (1) str_repeat and (2) wordwrap functions in ext/standard/string.c in PHP before 5.1.5, when used on a 64-bit system, have unspecified impact and attack vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2006-1990. | ||||
| CVE-2004-1063 | 2 Canonical, Php | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Php | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| PHP 4.x to 4.3.9, and PHP 5.x to 5.0.2, when running in safe mode on a multithreaded Unix webserver, allows local users to bypass safe_mode_exec_dir restrictions and execute commands outside of the intended safe_mode_exec_dir via shell metacharacters in the current directory name. NOTE: this issue was originally REJECTed by its CNA before publication, but that decision is in active dispute. This candidate may change significantly in the future as a result of further discussion. | ||||

| BlueZ before 5.59 allows physically proximate attackers to obtain sensitive information because profiles/audio/avrcp.c does not validate params_len. | ||||
| CVE-2018-1000301 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 2 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Curl and 12 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.1 Critical |
| curl version curl 7.20.0 to and including curl 7.59.0 contains a CWE-126: Buffer Over-read vulnerability in denial of service that can result in curl can be tricked into reading data beyond the end of a heap based buffer used to store downloaded RTSP content.. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in curl < 7.20.0 and curl >= 7.60.0. | ||||

| CVE-2018-16842 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Curl and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| Curl versions 7.14.1 through 7.61.1 are vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in the tool_msgs.c:voutf() function that may result in information exposure and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2018-14618 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| curl before version 7.61.1 is vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the NTLM authentication code. The internal function Curl_ntlm_core_mk_nt_hash multiplies the length of the password by two (SUM) to figure out how large temporary storage area to allocate from the heap. The length value is then subsequently used to iterate over the password and generate output into the allocated storage buffer. On systems with a 32 bit size_t, the math to calculate SUM triggers an integer overflow when the password length exceeds 2GB (2^31 bytes). This integer overflow usually causes a very small buffer to actually get allocated instead of the intended very huge one, making the use of that buffer end up in a heap buffer overflow. (This bug is almost identical to CVE-2017-8816.) | ||||
| CVE-2018-16890 | 8 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 5 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 8 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 is vulnerable to a heap buffer out-of-bounds read. The function handling incoming NTLM type-2 messages (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:ntlm_decode_type2_target`) does not validate incoming data correctly and is subject to an integer overflow vulnerability. Using that overflow, a malicious or broken NTLM server could trick libcurl to accept a bad length + offset combination that would lead to a buffer read out-of-bounds. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3822 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 4 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 14 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3823 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 3 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 6 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. The read contents will not be returned to the caller. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3888 | 1 Canonical | 1 Ubuntu | 2026-03-24 | 7.8 High |
| Local privilege escalation in snapd on Linux allows local attackers to get root privilege by re-creating snap's private /tmp directory when systemd-tmpfiles is configured to automatically clean up this directory. This issue affects Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, 18.04 LTS, 20.04 LTS, 22.04 LTS, and 24.04 LTS. | ||||
| CVE-2019-9928 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Gstreamer | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Gstreamer | 2026-03-17 | N/A |
| GStreamer before 1.16.0 has a heap-based buffer overflow in the RTSP connection parser via a crafted response from a server, potentially allowing remote code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2025-13350 | 1 Canonical | 1 Ubuntu Linux | 2026-03-09 | N/A |
| Ubuntu Linux 6.8 GA retains the legacy AF_UNIX garbage collector but backports upstream commit 8594d9b85c07 ("af_unix: Don’t call skb_get() for OOB skb"). When orphaned MSG_OOB sockets hit unix_gc(), the garbage collector still calls kfree_skb() as if OOB SKBs held two references; on Ubuntu Linux 6.8 (Noble Numbat) kernel tree, they have only the queue reference, so the buffer is freed while still reachable and subsequent queue walks dereference freed memory, yielding a reliable local privilege escalation (LPE) caused by a use-after-free (UAF). Ubuntu builds that have already taken the new GC stack from commit 4090fa373f0e, and mainline Linux kernels shipping that infrastructure are unaffected because they no longer execute the legacy collector path. This issue affects Ubuntu Linux from 6.8.0-56.58 before 6.8.0-84.84. | ||||
| CVE-2025-32463 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 3 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 5 more | 2026-02-26 | 9.3 Critical |
| Sudo before 1.9.17p1 allows local users to obtain root access because /etc/nsswitch.conf from a user-controlled directory is used with the --chroot option. | ||||
